This is a basic primer on using your pneumatic tools safely while working on your car.
Pneumatic tools are powered or sourced by compressed air. Compressed air is what you use to fill your tires or to paint your ride with a paint gun.
You have to be careful with it, though. You should always wear safety glasses or a face shield. Before you turn on your pneumatic tool, make sure all of your hoses are connected securely. An out of control hose can be not only painful, but very dangerous.
Make sure you have a decent grip on it before you turn it on AND before you turn it off. Don't use compressed air to 'dust off' you skin or clothes.
You should not even use it to clean the floor. It's too easy for dirt, metal, and other objects to find their way to your skin or your car's paint job. Make sure to only use your pneumatic tools at pressures that its manufacturer recommends. Safe blowing!
